Course Overview

The APOST Advanced FESS Cadaveric Demonstration is a focused educational programme designed to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of advanced endoscopic sinus surgery techniques through lectures and live cadaveric surgical demonstration.

The course will be led by internationally recognised rhinology expert Prof. Richard Harvey, moderated by Prof. Simon Carney. Participants will observe key surgical approaches and techniques in real time, supported by structured lectures and expert discussion.

Course Format

This is a one-day cadaveric demonstration course consisting of:

- Didactic lectures

- Live cadaveric surgical demonstration

- Interactive case discussion

- Q&A sessions with faculty

- Lunch symposium

The cadaveric demonstration will be broadcast live within the teaching facility and moderated to allow discussion of surgical decision-making, anatomical considerations, and complication management.

This course is designed for:

- ENT Consultants

- Rhinology specialists

- Fellows in otorhinolaryngology

- Senior ENT trainees with an interest in rhinology and endoscopic sinus surgery

Expected Attendance

Approximately 20–25 participants

This course is designed as a demonstration-based learning environment, allowing close observation and discussion with faculty.

Educational Scholarship

APOST Educational Scholarships will be awarded to participants who successfully complete the course with full attendance throughout the entire programme.
